Our Guides
I’m absolutely thrilled to be a tour guide, showcasing the stunning park and its amazing animals—it's hands down my favorite part of the job! I stumbled into this industry three years ago, what a journey it’s been! One key lesson I’ve learned is to be discerning about whom to trust. Growing up in Minnesota, I love skiing, hiking, biking, and tearing around on my motorcycle in my free time. Did you know I’m also a speed skater and can still pull off a backflip on skis? If I weren’t in this incredible field, I’d be building cars, which I've done before. The best advice I ever received? You guessed it—be careful about who you trust! And one thrilling item on my bucket list is to fly in a fighter jet! My favorite memory here? Watching the amazing rut—it was unforgettable!

I hold the title of “Guide to the Stars,” which involves sharing the wonders of the night sky with those who have never experienced Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). My journey into this industry began when the mountains called, and I answered. The most rewarding aspect of my job is sharing the amazing history and beauty of RMNP with guests who have never experienced it before. A career accomplishment I am most proud of is being told by others that I have made a positive difference in their lives.

In my role, I bring skills such as communication, a passion for history and nature, and a genuine care for others. I spend a lot of time hiking, camping, and skiing, which I believe gives me credibility in the adventure world. I have been a tour guide for four years, and a valuable lesson I have learned is that people come to RMNP for different reasons. I take the time to learn what all my guests want from their tour and do my best to ensure they get what they want.

I grew up in the Chicago land area and enjoy hobbies such as skiing, hiking, camping, visiting national parks, spending time with my dogs, listening to music, watching movies, lifting weights, and doing cardio. If I weren’t in this field, I would likely be a mental health therapist or family therapist. The best piece of advice I have ever received is that I get to choose my attitude, and others don’t get to do that for me.
My favorite food is pizza, followed by sushi, and my signature dish is Gnocchi Carne Asada. One thing on my bucket list is to visit all 63 national parks; I have been to 36 so far. My favorite book is “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Victor Frankel, and my favorite movies are “Braveheart” and “Fury.” I also enjoy the TV shows “Yellowstone” and “The Wire.” The animal that best describes me is a German Shepherd because I am focused, loyal, family-oriented, and will bite if provoked.
The company’s mission means everything to me, as it emphasizes quality and excellence every day for every guest. My favorite memory working here is hearing so many “wow, amazing, awesome, oohhhh’s” from guests. For someone wanting to join our team, I would advise bringing their “A” game every day, being passionate, and focusing on their guests. RMNP will do the rest.

I am a tour guide and professional, dedicated to excellence and customer service. I entered this industry by unplugging from the matrix and embracing seasonal work. The most rewarding aspect of my job is sharing knowledge and our incredible experiences with people. I bring skills in food, plants, nomadic living, and humor to my role. I have been a tour guide for three years and have learned the valuable lesson that not everyone will like you. I grew up in New Mexico and Colorado, and in my spare time, I enjoy living, bowling, cooking, eating, and the outdoors. If I weren’t in this field, I would be in construction. My favorite food or signature dish is biscuits and gravy and chicken pot pie. One thing on my bucket list is to climb Mount Fuji again. My favorite book is “Marcus Aurelius, Meditations,” most A24 films are my favorite movies, and I enjoy any Taylor Sheridan TV show. I would describe myself as a peregrine falcon because I rapidly dive into the unknown while the wind blows through my feathers, and I smile. The company’s mission means giving people the best Estes Park experience. My favorite memory working here is receiving a standing ovation or when my guests share their own memories. To someone wanting to join our team, I would advise being yourself and challenging yourself to find other things you enjoy sharing.

I am a Tour Guide, a role that involves the exhilarating yet challenging task of driving a 25ft van with 14 passengers along one of the scariest roads in the country. My journey into this industry was driven by my lifelong passion for nature and exploration, coupled with my love for teaching. The most rewarding aspect of my job is sharing the breathtaking landscapes with a fun group and making their vacations memorable. One of my proudest career accomplishments is my six years of service in the army as an Apache helicopter mechanic. In my role, I bring a wealth of knowledge about plants, animals, the history of the park, the inner workings of trees, and a mechanical background. A valuable lesson I’ve learned as a guide is that every tour is unique, requiring me to adjust the vibe based on the group. I grew up in Mechanicsville, Maryland, and in my spare time, I enjoy painting, hiking, camping, woodworking, and snowboarding. A skill or talent most people don’t know about is that I used to race motocross. If I weren’t in this field, I would likely be pursuing woodworking. The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is not to cook bacon with my shirt off. My favorite food or signature dish is Maryland blue crabs, and one thing on my bucket list is to summit Longs Peak. My favorite book, movie, or TV show is “Pineapple Express,” and I feel the American Kestrel best describes me because it is the smallest falcon in North America—tiny but mighty! The company’s mission means a lot to me as it involves providing excellent service, giving people a fun and unforgettable experience, and enjoying Rocky Mountain National Park. My favorite memory working here is driving in a full-on blizzard up Old Fall River Road. To someone wanting to join our team, I would advise that it’s the best tour company in Estes Park, and you have to be able to represent it well.

I am a guide at Rocky Mountain National Park, where my role involves providing an overall experience of the park’s beauty. My journey into this industry began as a parks and recreation professional, driven by my love for the outdoors, particularly the mountains. The most rewarding aspect of my job is witnessing customers’ reactions when they experience the park and its wildlife for the first time. I am particularly proud of my 30+ years in the public sector. In my role, I bring a deep knowledge of the park and its many features. I have been a tour guide for six years, with experience in both Arizona and Colorado. A valuable lesson I’ve learned as a guide is that it is the customer’s tour, and it may be their first time experiencing a national park and the great outdoors. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and in my spare time, I enjoy hiking, pickleball, and fishing. Interestingly, I am also a pickleball instructor, a skill or talent most people don’t know about me. If I weren’t in this field, I would be exploring new areas of the state. The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is to know the golden rule and treat everyone with respect. My favorite food is lemon chicken, and one thing on my bucket list is to visit Alaska. I enjoy exploring the Colorado River and its canyons, whether through books, movies, or TV shows. The animal that best describes me is an elk, as it embodies strength and grace. To me, the company’s mission means producing a quality experience. My favorite memory working here is that every day is a new adventure. For someone wanting to join our team, I would advise learning about the area and park and having a complete understanding of customer service.
